This site is generated via Hugo and hosted through AWS amplify.

• Content updated by forestry.io ( a CMS for MarkDown ) automatically updates gitlab repo (new-content branch)
• When new-content branch is merged into testing branch, AWS amplify detects changes and runs pipeline to rebuild site via Hugo
• These changes are reflected in the alpha site, a separate amplify app, and the beta site, a subdomain of the main amplify app.
• When testing is merged into master, the main site is updated.

The alpha site is used to test things like new themes and structure changes that could break the entire site. The beta site is used to ensure that the generated content accessible by the alpha site will render as expected in the main site, with production settings, before being pushed to the main site.
